NBC News and the Democratic National Committee excluded former Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska on grounds that he did not meet fundraising and polling thresholds. Well that didn’t stop him from getting his message out live on Ustream.TV
Senator Mike Gravel in front of a full auditorium responded to each of the questions and answers from the Democratic candidates during the debate live at Drexel University. MSNBC wouldn’t cover the event, but Ustream did.
We continue to see the candidates from both sides of the aisle empowering themselves with live Ustream events.

Nip/Tuck’s Season 5 premieres on October 30th on FX. FX, among other major media companies, are embracing emerging technology to supplement traditional promotion efforts.
“Fans that interact with the stars on the launch or premiere of a series are far more likely to feel compelled to tune-in and watch consistently. After all, I’ve watched all the seasons of a major sitcom because I actually met the lead star…when you feel a sense of connection, it’s easy to decide on what to watch on TV,” says Angelica Valentine, Ustream.TV Manager.
