“A Celebration of the Lives of John Hope and Aurelia Whittington Franklin,” and Other Events for the Week of June 8th

On Thursday, June 11th, starting at 11am PST, Duke University will be streaming a live broadcast of the “A Celebration of the Lives of John Hope and Aurelia Whittington Franklin” event. This event is being held to honor John Hope Franklin, the scholar who helped create the field of African-American history, and his wife Aurelia Whittington Franklin. Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will be one of the featured speakers, and you can watch the entire event here.

Actress Romi Danes, also known as Traci Van Horn on Disney’s “Hannah Montana”, will be the special guest on “The Rob Redstone Show.” The show will start at 7pm PST on Monday, June 8th and you can watch and interact here.
