Bad Girls Club and Other Events This Week

Tuesday at 8pm PST, tune in here for a live webcast with the cast of Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club. If you’re not familiar with the show, it brings together seven self-proclaimed “bad girls” and puts them in a house together. Think of it as The Real World with people who don’t stop being polite–because they never were polite in the first place.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5am PST, tune in here for live webcasts with the United Nations Millennium Campaign. Each day, a United Nations staff member will be live broadcasting a Skype call to children in Kenya, South Africa, and Ghana respectively. The United Nations has been utilizing Ustream’s broadcasting platform to connect with individuals in developing nations and share that connection with thousands of people across America who may not be aware of their efforts. Go ahead, get up early and check it out!

Wednesday at 9:30am PST, tune in here for another episode of This Week with the 88–a webcast series featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr. answering fan questions and talking about Nascar. Fans of racing won’t want to miss it.

Wednesday at 12:30pm PST tune in here to watch a live broadcast from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. They’ll be streaming their 2010-2011 season announcement live with a dynamic group of guest speakers and perhaps even a surprise appearance (via Skype) by the Principal Guest Conductor Donald Runnicles via Berlin!

Wednesday at 4pm PST, tune in here to watch a webchat with stars of USA Network’s hit series White Collar. Matt and Tim will be live answering fan questions, discussing season 1, and giving hints for what is to come!

Thursday at 7pm PST, tune in for a very special concert featuring Saving Abel. They’ll be performing a USO show for our troops in the Persian Gulf. Friday at 3pm PST, tune in here for a live Friends or Enemies chat with the band Set if Off. They’ll be taking questions and playing some acoustic songs for lucky fans.

Friday at 5pm PST, tune in to watch the red carpet from the 25th Annual Independent Spirit Awards hosted by British comedian Eddie Izzard. Known as the “anti-Oscars” the Spirit Awards aim to recognize the unsung heroes of independent film and celebrate the craft of filmmaking.
