Last week more than 100,000 media professionals gathered in Las Vegas to get the latest insights in digital content at NAB Show 2015, sponsored by the National Association of Broadcasters. This year’s agenda, which included several new elements, focused on the issues that are shaping the future of new media.
Online Video Conference
For the first time, the event included an Online Video Conference, where executives from digital media firms gathered to discuss issues such as online original content, the migration to over-the-top (OTT) content and online advertising metrics. Among the speakers was Alison Moore, general manager and executive VP of NBCUniversal’s TV Everywhere initiative, who discussed the network’s commitment to providing content across multiple platforms.
Focus on Cybersecurity
Several sessions focused on growing concerns around cybersecurity, and the Technology Luncheon featured a keynote address from John McAfee, founder of McAfee Inc. McAfee discussed the vulnerability of mobile devices as well as how current technology is enhancing data capture.
Teradek Highlights Innovative Products

New Partnerships and Platforms Announced
