International Women’s Day is an opportunity for us to get together and celebrate the enormous benefits of a gender equal world. The theme this year - #choosetochallenge - asks us all to play our part in challenging bias and ensuring we’re inclusive in everything we do.
As part of our morning meeting this coming Monday, we’re delighted to welcome businesswomen, philanthropist and AO, Audette Exel. Audette is the Founder of Adara Group, which is helping change the lives of women and children living in extreme poverty.
Audette will be speaking to us via video link about why International Women’s Day matters for women in Australia and in remote parts of the world. She’ll share what we can all do to improve the position of women and girls and how the Adara Group is using financial services skills to benefit women and girls living in poverty. There will be time for Q&A so please think ahead what you might like to ask Audette.
