The saved content is stored in a content cache on a Mac, and is available for other devices to retrieve without going out over the Internet.

Getting Started with Apple School Manager (17 Part Webseries)
Apple School Manager is a web-based portal that has everything admins need to deploy iPad and Mac in schools. The online Getting Started with Apple School Manager video sessions have been created to accelerate your understanding and use of Apple School Manager features to prepare for your deployment.
