Access Abilities: Designing for All Learners

At Apple, we believe that every learner is a creator. Whether you’re an adult or a child, the most powerful learning often happens when you’re inspired to create something new. In this session, you’ll experience a variety of ways iPad can support students who have special needs and how those features and resources benefit all learners.

    Apple and Higher Education

Leading universities are using our products and platform to achieve their missions and goals across five key areas: student experience, campus services, research, athletics, and career readiness. This presentation highlights off-the-shelf apps and customer examples that support each key area. You’ll learn why Apple is uniquely positioned in higher education environments.

    Apple and Privacy in Education

For 40 years, Apple technology has helped to expand how teachers teach and students learn, with access to powerful tools and apps that enable engaging learning experiences and unleash the creative potential in every student. We know how important security and privacy are to protect the data that students create, store, and access throughout the learning experience. Come learn details about how Apple protects and secures teacher and student data in every area of learning.

This product comes with all the great AppleCare+ benefits and adds coverage designed specifically for education institutions. Join us for a quick overview of the latest addition to the AppleCare+ product family that lets schools protect their Apple investment, get access to genuine Apple parts and service and even accidental damage coverage with no service fees.

    Augmented Reality in Education

Augmented reality (AR) lets students and teachers overlay information, visuals, and other content into the real world, providing new context and powerful connections to enhance learning and build understanding. Teachers can use AR apps in their existing lessons to turn a classroom into the cosmos, make a history lesson as vivid as the present, and let students peer inside everyday objects to understand how they’re put together.

This session will provide everything you need to know about funding, purchasing, and distributing apps and books for iPad and Mac with Apple School Manager. Discover how to leverage education volume discounts, and learn tips and tricks on getting the most from Apple School Manager from an Apple system engineer

These new teaching tools help educators and students take advantage of the creative power of apps on iPad.

Content Caching - Speed and Efficiency

Content caching is a macOS service that helps reduce Internet data usage and speed up software installation on Mac computers, iOS devices, and Apple TV. Come learn how content caching speeds up downloading of software distributed by Apple and data that users store in iCloud by saving content that local Mac computers, iOS devices, and Apple TV devices have already downloaded. The saved content is stored in a content cache on a Mac, and is available for other devices to retrieve without going out over the Internet.

Getting Started with Apple School Manager (17 Part Webseries)

Apple School Manager is a web-based portal that has everything admins need to deploy iPad and Mac in schools. The online Getting Started with Apple School Manager video sessions have been created to accelerate your understanding and use of Apple School Manager features to prepare for your deployment. You’ll learn about enrolling in or upgrading to Apple School Manager, as well as how to create new users and classes, assign and enroll devices to mobile device management (MDM), and buy and distribute apps, books, and learning materials.

    iPad and Student Assessment

As iPad transforms the classroom and expands the possibilities for teaching and learning, educators have also come to rely on iPad for student assessment. For online assessments, iPad can disable certain hardware and software features to meet the requirements for a secure test environment, and prevent a test taker from circumventing the assessment and invalidating test results. iPad is approved for standardized assessments in all states, making it the ideal choice for daily learning and student assessment.
