Content Caching - Speed and Efficiency
Content caching is a macOS service that helps reduce Internet data usage and speed up software installation on Mac computers, iOS devices, and Apple TV. Come learn how content caching speeds up downloading of software distributed by Apple and data that users store in iCloud by saving content that local Mac computers, iOS devices, and Apple TV devices have already downloaded. The saved content is stored in a content cache on a Mac, and is available for other devices to retrieve without going out over the Internet.
Deploying iPad for Remote Learning - Planning for Cellular Connectivity
In this presentation, we’ll explore why connectivity is important for remote learning, how iPad supports connectivity over cellular networks, and how to deploy and manage cellular connectivity for learning. You’ll learn about carrier selection, choosing between physical and eSIM, how to engage the cellular carrier, scaling your deployment with MDM, and content filtering.

Getting Started with Apple School Manager (2023 Video Series)
Apple School Manager is a web-based portal that has everything admins need to deploy iPad and Mac in schools. The online Getting Started with Apple School Manager video sessions have been created to accelerate your understanding and use of Apple School Manager features to prepare for your deployment. You’ll learn about enrolling in or upgrading to Apple School Manager, as well as how to create new users and classes, assign and enroll devices to mobile device management (MDM), and buy and distribute apps, books, and learning materials.
iPad and Student Assessment
As iPad transforms the classroom and expands the possibilities for teaching and learning, educators have also come to rely on iPad for student assessment. For online assessments, iPad can disable certain hardware and software features to meet the requirements for a secure test environment, and prevent a test taker from circumventing the assessment and invalidating test results. iPad is approved for standardized assessments in all states, making it the ideal choice for daily learning and student assessment.
