NASA’s Integrated LCRD Low-Earth Orbit User Modem and Amplifier Terminal (ILLUMA-T) is getting ready for its launch to the International Space Station. Once installed, ILLUMA-T will work with NASA’s Laser Communications Relay Demonstration and showcase the significant benefits laser communications systems can offer missions.
During this Engage Session, ILLUMA-T project leaders, system engineers, and mission integration and testing personnel will detail the challenges and solutions associated with designing and building a laser communications terminal.
