Who We Are
The Office of Digital Transformation (ODT) is the first ever Smithsonian office dedicated to developing and implementing a pan-Institutional digital strategy. ODT’s team is made up of subject matter experts who will support and execute pan-SI strategies while also supporting individual units in leveraging digital technology to achieve their goals.

By 2026, the Smithsonian will be a digitally empowered Institution that builds purposeful connections between the knowledge we share and the people we serve, inviting every household, classroom, and community around the globe on a lasting journey to explore, learn, and find meaning together.
